On the eve of the Gulf War, a soldier sends a letter to Elvis Costello thanking him for his music. She returns home to discover that her
letter has inspired one of Costello’s most beautiful and heartfelt songs. Upon her military discharge, she races back to New York just in time to see Costello play a sold-out show at Town Hall. Later that evening, she unexpectedly finds herself face-to-face with her musical idol.
