Colonel Dax and his men are deep in the trenches of the war when he’s forced to send his men on a mission doomed for failure. Later, after men have died and the mission is unsuccessful, three soldiers are sent to trial. Dax is chosen as a defense attorney for the scapegoats, and the trial becomes one of the most shameful examples on the wastefulness of war every to emerge.
