Children of a Lesser God

James, a new speech teacher at a school for deaf students, quickly becomes enamored by a one-time student, Sarah. Her disability has kept Sarah in a silent world all her life, and she refuses to read James’s lips or communicate any way but through sign language. Romantic and heartfelt, the two develop a relationship that, despite it’s rocky beginning, is one built on common ground.
