Dances with Wolves

After accidentally leading troops to victory in a Civil War battle, Lt. John Dunbar requests to be posted in the uncharted western frontier. He finds the area all but abandoned; the only residents remaining are a friendly wolf he names Two-Socks and a group of curious Indians. Gradually, Dunbar befriends the tribe. Among them is a white woman who, when her family’s settlement was raided, came to be raised by the Indians.
