The Deep End of the Ocean

Beth is a well-to-do working mother who, in a moment of distraction, looks away from her three-year-old son in a crowded store. In an instant, he’s snatched from her. Over the next several years, she understandably dissolves from guilt and grief.  It’s nine years later that, through a series of events no one could see coming, the son she lost so long ago reappears on Beth’s doorstep without any memory of the events regarding his disappearance.
