A young boy, in an effort to have a normal childhood in 1980’s El Salvador, is caught up in a dramatic fight for his life as he desperately tries to avoid the war which is raging all around him.
In this powerful narrative, little Chava tries to live out the last precious days of his childhood before his 12th birthday determines his future in the midst of war-torn 1980s El Salvador. This film is based on the true story of screenwriter Oscar Torres’ embattled childhood.
