My Fair Lady

Eliza Doolittle is a ragamuffin London street urchin, her clothes, hygiene and slang-heavy manner of speaking all evidence of her poor background. Henry Higgins is a privileged scientist who prides himself on knowing a person by their dialect. When his friend offers a harmless wager, Higgins can’t refuse: he’s transform the street urchin into a lady who could pass for royalty.  So begins Eliza’s intense training at the hands of Professor Higgins, a journey that will teach them both much more than the proper way to pronounce each word.
