Joe is an elderly man who has become depressed with life in a retirement community. Unlike his friend Mark, Joe dreads spending his final days in a home and decides to leave in search of a little excitement. Over the course of the day, Joe realizes the world moves a faster than he remembered, gets bad news regarding his friend and learns to accept his future.
