On Golden Pond

Norman and Ethel Thayer return to the summer cottage they’ve had since early in their long marriage. When their grown daughter Chelsea decides to join them, the years between parents and child are apparent. Their relationship is strained and distant.  Chelsea jets off to Paris shortly after Norman’s birthday, leaving her fiance’s son with the Thayers. When she returns weeks later, Norman and Billy Ray have the type of father/child relationship Chelsea always desired.
