This animated short film tells the story of Smile, a lonely but caring happy face toy who befriends a happy face balloon. Their cherished friendship becomes threatened when a jealous pirate toy seeks to destroy them both, so Smile must muster up all his courage and wit if he is to save the balloon from the clutches of Pirate.
