When a gang of older boys tell Teddy, Vern, Gordie and Chris that they’ve discovered a local teen’s dead body, the four set out on the sly to see it for themselves. Their journey is eventful, from an encounter with a terrifying junkyard dog to swimming through a swamp full of leeches. Between the stressful moments are interludes of self reflection and demonstrations of true camaraderie.
