Stuart is a small, orphaned white mouse with a lovable personality, is adopted by the kindly Little family. However, when the Littles bring their new son home, George, who was looking forward to a new brother or sister, is not pleased to see a mouse. The family cat, Snowbell, is determined to rid the family of its newest member and so begins a feline plot that takes unexpected turns. The result is that Stuart has to win over his new brother George while also trying to escape cat schemes.
